Pigeon Impossible

Pigeon Impossible
WALT write a movie review

There is a short animation created by Martell Animations called ‘Pigeon Impossible’. The animation is inspired by other famous spy movies like James Bond & Mission Impossible.

It is based in Washington DC with a spy in a black & white tuxedo & sunglasses getting handed a silver briefcase.

He sits down on a dark green wooden bench eating a bagel and opens the case by pressing down with his thumb. Then a pigeon appears wanting the bagel but accidently gets stuck inside the briefcase. He tries to control it, causing a lot of trauma.

I quite liked the part where the pigeon was trying to control the briefcase and the laser beam just missed the spy by a few centimeters. It was pretty funny that the red light was just a result of the strange pigeon pecking at the controls inside the briefcase.

As the story goes on it seems like the pigeon knew how to control it. How did the pigeon know how to control a briefcase? After all, he was supposed to be a pigeon! He could shoot laser beams and a lot of other stuff that a pigeon should not know how to do! I thought that was weird and wrong!

I also didn’t like all the characters in this film. The man had a strange face shape and a tiny mouth which made him look weird when he ate while the pigeon looked more like a tui & also had me puzzled on it’s gender. I found them really quite weird.

Overall I didn't like this movie and I would recommend not wasting your time watching it. I give it 1 and a half stars out of 5 because the whole scenario was pointless as it could have been avoided completely. So rather than entertaining me it just frustrated me.

Walking to the cabin

I jogged through the forest to a cabin . . .

WALT describe

It was a bright sunny day and I was jogging through the trees on the forest path towards the clearing. It was Autumn so the leaves were all different shades from orange to brown, yellow to red. When I reached the clearing, I stared all around. The clearing was covered with leaves of all the same shades which were most likely from the trees that circled around the clearing. In the middle, a cascade of lights shone down on the thick, rich soil and the large elegant iron cabin standing before me. The roof of corrugated iron was very shiny and the rest of the cabin was also very sleek and elegant, yet it still seemed to completely blend in with it’s surroundings.

The cabin was also really close to the sea, so through the trees I could just glimpse the sparkling sea traveling up shore, running through the shimmery golden sand trying to reach the luscious green grass that grew around the beach and into the clearing sprouting out of the ground and reaching for the sun. I bounded up the front stairs, there was four all together and none of them creaked at all! I opened the front door. . .

EOTC Recount

Long bay hike

A fairly sized handful of students from rm7 & rm9 were crowded around Mrs Milne as they chattered away at Long Bay Beach. This was part of EOTC which for some was probably the most exciting day of the whole school year! We were just about to walk the Long Bay hike and we were all bursting with excitement to start! EOTC was to explore the outdoors so everything last week was pretty different compared to a normal school day.

Before we left for the hike Mrs Milne handed out checklists. We had to
take photos of things that we saw on the way with the ipad we were
Given and tick it after the photo was taken. We were in groups of four
with an adult each, in my group was Eliza, Elizabeth, Vivienne & me &
our parent was the one and only Mrs Milne! Personally, I was really
excited to see pukekos, a bird native to New Zealand and they were on
our list! I got Eliza to take a photo & I ticked them off our list. Then
we started looking for other things such as Vaughan house,
Rangitoto island, Tiritiri island, stock gates, Granny’s bay, a view of
Long Bay & a few other things. Vaughan house seemed very out
dated but it was built hundreds of years ago so I wasn’t very
surprised. We didn’t really travel to either Rangitoto Island or
Tiritiri island either, we just saw the view and took a Photo. When we got to Granny’s bay I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was so very pretty! I
heard the soft, calm waves, I smelt the salty sea. In fact the sea was
so salty that I could almost taste it! I felt the the golden sand flowing

through my fingertips, I thought that the fresh air was very soothing &
as I stood up to pose for photos, I felt calm & relaxed. After we had
Taken our photos, I said to Anita, this beach is beautiful, she

                                     agreed with me.

The blues) Charlotte

(The blues)

Physical

What looked like a cute cheeky bluebird was waiting in line to fling himself towards us, I was scared, a lot! As I was watching them, I noticed his two blue head feathers blowing around in the wind, I stared at his orange eye bags which made his eyes seem particularly small to me, I thought of myself owning a yellow beak like his, I would look terribly strange, I am a green pig after all! Just thinking about him was daunting, yet I almost wanted to laugh at his size! Then I thought to myself, how can only one little bluebird possibly beat us?

Abilities

A rather small bluebird hops up onto the slingshot, this bird is definitely underestimated. He aims for the glass, his strong point. Soon after that he’s zooming through the sky, his head feathers being pulled back by the passing wind. Suddenly, something amazing, impossible even, happened… One became three! Now the green pigs (our enemies) will have to deal with the triple threat! (Take that green pigs!) Now they're hitting the the wall! Unfortunately, one of the three blues has hit the wood! (Which is really bad :(

Personality

As three small cheeky bluebirds snuck around town at the stroke of midnight, in black ninja suits, with small black walkie talkies tucked into their belts, they heard some pigs snorting. (Shesh, when was their bedtime?!) They were on a stealth mission to find the missing eggs. When a pig guard saw them, it yawned while chasing them, but stopped when they crossed the bridge and ran away. The blues laughed when they saw the green pig sleeping because they thought it was hilarious!
